PETER FRANK

Peter Frank was born in 1950 in New York, where he served as art critic for The Village Voice and The SoHo Weekly News. In 1988 he moved to Los Angeles.

Peter Frank is the Senior Curator at the Riverside Art Museum and an art critic for Angeleno Magazine. He worked as a long-time critic for LA Weekly, and did editorial work for Visions Art Quarterly, THE LA ART MAG and is currently with FABRIK.

Frank contributes articles to numerous publications, he has written many monographs and catalogs for one person and group exhibitions. Frank has organized many theme and survey shows for placement at institutions throughout the world. He has taught at colleges and universities and has lectured all over North America and Europe. Frank received his B.A. and M.A. in art history from Columbia University.

He recently lectured at Substrate Gallery in Los Angeles.
